My little boy is now a big kid.

My son started his first day of Kindergarten this Monday. I believe I had more butterflies in my stomach then he did. The first day was a success and we celebrated it with ice cream.
I saved these images only because I have a boy, but they are fab rooms. Enjoy, Heidi

Today is a gift, that is why it is called the Present.

There is so much knowledge in this quote, yet the person who wrote it is unknown.
Thank you Mr. or Mrs. Unknown. Enjoy, Heidi

Out of sight pantry.

I hate to see labels so one day when I have this fabulous pantry
all the ugly food labels will be behind closed doors. Problem solved. Enjoy, Heidi

Sweet Suite Serenity

Washington, DC’s premier design house showcasing the talents of 15 of the DC Metro area’s top designers – to benefit Children’s National Medical Center.
This design belongs to Kelley Proxmire who has Kelley Interior Design. I love these colors for a bedroom, very calming. Enjoy, Heidi

Brace yourself, this one is so creative it hurts. All of the images on this post are either window displays of Anthropologie or have been taken from within Anthropologie, but they have been all taken from admirers like myself and posted on Flickr. They always seem to use ordinary things in extraordinary ways. Enjoy, Heidi

This window display is of suspended plastic storage bags filled with soil and plants and other plants that grew from seed or bulb there in the window. I am thinking that it is their spring window.
Ribbons, scraps, yarn?
Winter displays.
Marshmallows falling into mugs for hot chocolate and paper dolie snowflakes.
One of their more simple displays.
This I think is a cascade of coffee filters and cupcake papers. They seem to look like a beachy, shell encrusted, housing thing display?
These are books that are shaped into flowers?

I love most of their clothes.

They have great knobs and hooks. I love how they display them on this periodic table chart.
I am thinking that all the white things are marshmallows?
Very, very cool light display.
Very typical Anthropologie bedding.Suspended books.

Head in the clouds and feet on the ground.

Some Great Ideas.

Form and Function or as I like to say it's pretty and I it works.

What a great way to recycle old bottles. Martha Stewart has got a new branch on her site called Whole Living and that is where I found this wonderful image
This cup full of roses is a very easy way to make great centerpieces or hostess gifts on each guests plate. Just soak a brick of wet floral foam in water, cut a piece to fit snug in the cup and poke the roses in and your done. This image is courtesy of Country Living.

Curious Sofa

Debbie Dusenberry is good, very good. I really think a lot of her, just look at some of her work in her store The Curious Sofa and you will see why. Enjoy, Heidi Old garden tools make up these entry way arrangements outside the front doors.

Great way to recycle old bottles, jewelry and lace.

Old photos everywhere.

Theses are antique rhinestone shoe buckles made into bracelets. How Fab is that?

Unpolished silver.

Great merchandising.

Great jewelry.
