Great pics! The 1st looks so yum and refreshing. What a great idea for serving in the 3rd pic :)
Try & stay cool as best you can Heides. It's another w/end of freezing, windy weather & blazing open fires here.Millie ^_^
Hi Heidi, these are very refreshing pics - they are lovely. We are in the middle of winter here (Melbourne Australia) but it hasn't been too cold. Why is it so smelly where you are?
It's smelly because the heat increases rate of decomposition and it seems like every bug and critter has crawled out of it's hole and died or got ran over. Livestock trucks drive through our town daily, wild hogs are the worst. Tuesday is the worst, it's garbage day. Lately it has been raining so everyones trash is saturated this means the garbage truck is leaving a river of putred, sour, discusting waste down every street in our town. It is smelly and gross. I failed to mention that apparently the deoderant companines have apparently have taken the active ingredients out of their products therefor everyone who goes outside and breaks a sweat is also smelly. Maybe my sniffer is a bit too keen. Heidi
Love your description of a sweaty warm summer day - doesn't sound that great!! Love the knots of lemon zest. Impossible to pull off I imagine but bless dear Martha for making us try... A x
