Dan Marty

Classic, timeless, comfortable, natural  and eclectic, all of which I am a fan.  I love how he uses antiques, bamboo, old books, sea shells, red, white, blue and black.  Baskets and wicker bottles, domes, palms, lilies, Ivy and ferns.  Nests and eggs, turtle shells and orchids.  I love the romance and the love of nature.  It's not trendy but timeless, as you can see that the last images are maybe 10 years old perhaps and look just as wonderful as the first images.  This is the look that best describes my design style.  Enjoy, Heidi

I absolutely love his work Heidi, and you're right - it's timeless. Relaxed, casual spaces with lots of natural elements and vintage pieces - does it get any better? Thanks for the post, and I'm with you, this looks is my all-time favourite. K xx

You are so right Heidi. It's hard to tell which images are current and which are not. What great examples of timeless decorating, something I would love to achieve. I enjoy seeing Huka Lodge in your sidebar, makes me think of home (NZ).
