Merry Christmas to OZ.

Watching all of your blogs from the land down under has me thinking about Christmas in a different way this year. It is not hard to imagine what Christmas would be like in Australia since I live in Texas and it dose not snow and we rarely use our fireplaces. (Now this year is an exception because it snowed last week, but today it is hot and foggy. ?) I have picked out some fabulous images, all of which come from Country Living's book Merry and Bright. None of the images have snow or fireplaces a blaze. I also thought about the foliage, not so much cedar and pine but note in the beachy pic there is a garland of seeded eucalyptus.
So this one's for you my Aussie Sweethearts.
Merry Christmas to you from Heidi Claire.

Dear Honourary Aussie Girl - how thoughtful of you & how gorgeous are these images! Yes, our Christmas is very different to the other side of the world - but we wouldn't have it any other way.

You are so sweet, Heidi. Very Merry Christmas to you and all your loved ones.
It will be very hot and humid here in Brisbane this holiday and we will spend lots of time on a beach for sure.

Oh you sweet thing!... thinking of us. It's a scorcher here today.. 37 degrees celcius. My boys are in their undies in the back yard, squirting each other with water pistols and screaming the neighbourhood down. Best thing about a hot Aussie Christmas?... the cool seafood on Christmas Day.... while sweat is running down one's brow and cleavage! A-M xx

Thank you for thinking of us Aussies Heidi! As it happens, I've also just done a Aussie Christmas post.
These are such gorgeous pictures, especially the first one.
You know, I've been looking everywhere for a gum leaf wreath this Christmas but can't find one anywhere.
Hope you and your family have a wonderful Christmas.

Hey Heidi - me again... Just wanted to drop by in the middle of my packing (I hate packing) for my holiday to wish you a fabulous christmas and new year. Heidi - you were one of the first people I didn't know to comment on my blog, and it was such a buzz. I'll never forget it. I am so lucky to have met such incredible people through the 'blogging caper', maybe one day we can all get together for a big party, one day!! - love lots and will catch up with you in the new year xx
